Oh, I wasn't really interested in what the school taught her about grooming. I was more interested in which school it was and if they have their own breeding program or if they might be interested in donated doodles for their program.

She got it from a school. I bet I know what you want to know. Don't the schools tell you how to groom? Yes and no! In my experience, and I don't have a doodle, I was given a slicker brush and a comb. But there are things we find out on our own. I use "Mrs. Allen's Shed stop" for example, never heard of it at the school. I use a particular leave-in shampoo...never recommended by the school. I use a coat conditioner...never recommended by the school. I use a soft brush to finish her coat...never heard of it at the school. I use a doggie perfume that I like...never heard of it at the school. We learn both from the school and on our own. She was just curious about what other labradoodle owners might do to see if she could incorporate something extra and supplement whatever the school told her. -Cay-
