Poppie took on more characteristics of the poodle, and has the long curly coat. I do not know how to care for it! I make a doggie soap bar that is really good, and a good conditioner, but I am curious about other grooming aids and products that help make them look their best. I also need to know about what kind of brush to use. I am currently using a very wide toothed comb to get tangles out, and then one of my own brushes that is not dense at all. I pull very little hair out, so imagine that part is working out OK?
Thanks for any advice. I will also be posting this to my soap and toiletries lists because I can make just about anything that is recommended. I saw an aerosol grooming aid at the vet's, and all it contained was mineral oil, and an ingredient to make it propell. Of course it carried a price tag that would gag anyone but those showing their dogs...And I really do not wat to use a petroleum by-product on my dog! If you have favorite grooming aids that work well, I can duplicate them if I can get the ingredient list. Thanks again! Jan Baznik ------------------------ Yahoo!
