I've had a labradoodle for 1 1/2 years and he's GREAT! See his pictures at yahoo labradoodles - he's "Finley" Labradoodles are the dog for you if you have the space (they love to run) and if you have time for them - just be sure you take them to obedience school - they can be dominant and you need to keep them in control - they'll never hurt anyone - they're very friendly - they just need to know who's in charge and what they're allowed to do (just like any dog). I'd make sure your labradoodle is at least a second generation dog - the first generation may not be a good mix and will shed and not be fully allergy-free. Go with a breeder, not a puppymill. Ask a lot of questions. Hope this helps!
