And you don't like that smell in your house? LOL. My border collie has had gas lately, I bought a few new kinds of chewies so we are guessing that is the problem.
You want to make sure to keep him on the food for at least 6-10 weeks, if he has the runs or stinky poop right off the bat, don't switch foods again. It will need some time to settle into his system. If he starts itching like mad or losing hair, then stop the food. I give some plain yogurt on top of the food when I am changing, helps with the stomach bacteria. I just talked to somebody who's vet said that new Activa stuff is good to use too, I think it has one more type of bacteria that is good for the tum tum. Like I said, if he has gas, he probably has a tummy ache too.
Has he been wormed and everything? I sort of assumed that he was, but I guess it is dumb to assume. If he hasn't been wormed, that might be the cause as well.
       Good luck,

OH!  I forgot to mention the HORRENDOUS gas!  It's the worst smell I
have ever smelled. It's like stool mixed with sulfur.  I happen to
have some Nutro Large Breed Puppy Food so I think I will try to mix
that in every day until he is only on that.  You are right, clearly it
is not agreeing with him.  Thanks for the advice, Abbie.

By the way, my dog has the funniest way of peeing, he leans forward on
his front legs and pees.  He doesn't squat or lift his leg, it is very
strange.
