I have just joined the group and have a question. Has anyone noticed their Doodle having unexplained GI problems? I have a 10 month-old standard Labradoodle, from a very reputable breeder in Davis CA. and I've had Oliver since he was 9 weeks old. Over the past 6 weeks or so he has been having very loose stools daily, but almost predictably in the late mornings...say between 11-noon...his stools during the rest of the day, both before and after are perfectly normal. He is growing and maturing normally and seems otherwise healthy. I've been told by one person that it could be a manifestation of allergy, and he has developed a nasal allergy around the same time that responded to an antihistamine (now stopped), but it had no effect on his GI problem. His diet is Professional (brand) adult Chicken & Rice (dry) and this has not changed for a number of months...previously on the same brand for large breed puppies. He also has a great deal of gas...my wife says that we'd be in trouble if our windows didn't open!! Any thoughts or recommendations would certainly be appreciated.
