Our Goldendoodle is named Tycho (pronouced Tee'ko). My husband named him after Tycho Brahe, 16th century Danish astronomer. The story goes that Brahe was in a duel as a young man, and lost the tip of his nose. Later he had a prosthetic nose fashioned out of gold, and he was known as the man with the golden nose. We thought it would be a fun name for a doodle who, coincidentally is apricot with a gold colored nose:)
