Hello Renie, That's a great story.I wish all had happy endings like yours.Most people believe that a female dog is the best to own.You can ask any reputable Labradoodle breeder what their preference is for a Labradoodle and it will always be that the male makes the best companion,family dog.They are loyal to family and not bonded to one specific person in a family.It is like they are the protectors of their entire family.We just love our gentle male Labradoodles here at St.Clair Kennels.
