I have gotten this negative reaction too.  At my local scrapbooking store, and you know lots of women go in there and sit and talk for hours, one of the owners has a Rutland Manor offspring which is totally unruly,  she has taken her to trainer after trainer and still the dog is headstrong and diobedient.    She tells everyone how horrible the breed is.   She doesn't go into mentioning how they nearly drowned the dog when it was 8 weeks old and then again when it was 3 months old, or how she leaves it alone in the house all day while she is at work and expects this baby to be mellow when she gets home.   I took my puppies in to show her the other day and no one could believe how well behaved and mellow my 7 week old pups are.

DO we find fault in the owner or the dog???
