Most people buy white cars because they don't show the dirt -- well
that certainly does not hold true mud-loving, worm-digging
labradoodles! Here in Maine up until yesterday it was very warm and
the ground was muddy and not frozen, and Dempsey just gets filthy! And
while I can rush the potty trips and discourage the digging, he still
gets muddy feet and I am always wiping them, but they are still dirty
- short of a real dip in the tub. Is it ok to wash him every few days
as long as it's just a rinse with water?
I know I am not supposed to bathe him often, but because he is so
light, his coat looks so dingy if I just let it dry with dirt in it
and then try to brush it out.
Donna
p.s. if you have a dark doodle -- trust me the dirt is still there,
even if you can't see it! LOL
