We have shipped kittens for several years and we always use Continental for their climate controlled cargo area. We had to use Delta or US Air once and while we did not have a problem, a breeder next to us traveled the whole way [4 hours] to the airport and couldn't ship as the destination airport was going to be too warm by just a few degrees higher their guideline that day. Of course you have to do what is best for the animal but what a disappointment for both buyer and seller. I can't think of the timeframe now but Continental did have a service if the layover was too long to take the animal out to feed and relieve itself. I was always worried about how clean the areas would be and any contamination from other pets... but we never had a problem. Continental also is very reasonable in pricing and has a 24 pet hotline. Best of luck getting your new little one.... Trysh D. Sutton Trubengals and Savannahs Red Dog Labradoodles
