This was a problem with some of my Doodles, I have found that cleaning
the ear with a disinfectant ear cleaner, wipe out or swab out the
yuk, then making sure they are dry with a soft cloth, I have even used a
hair dryer on low blow and low heat to aid in this then put in three to
four drops of Original Listerine in each ear.The Listerine kills
bacteria. If the ear is not already infected try this weekly as needed.
But most important is to always check to see if the inner ear is
damp/wet and keep them dry, it takes a few minutes each day but well
worth it. Sharon www.mywhatadoodle.com
