O Hare will not take puppies until April, they do this every year due to weather. You are going to have to ship to Milwaukee (1 N) or Indianapolis (3 hours SE). I promise, I have done this enough to know!

I am so disappointed as I had cleared the entire weekend to spend every minute getting to know my new girl, get her settled in. Now it will be another week as Sandy is 3 hours from her airport and I'm 2 hours from O'Hare. She had to make the drive all the way there with the puppy,health cert, etc. only to find out they had just canceled live animal shipments for the day to O'Hare. temps are fine on her end. If temps aren't significantly above the limit next week, we're going to go ahead and ship Continental next Friday. Hate to put the puppy through the longer flight instead of non-stop, but forecast here in the Chicago area today is in the mid-30's with temp restrictions at 20, so I don't know why they canceled. In any case, I am really disappointed. She is my very first Labradoodle, and we've had to delay twice already with shipping. So everyone who has a doodle, please give your baby a hug from me, the doodleless one, lol. Cheryl
