Hi all,

This is kind of a yuck topic, but never the less, a part of life. I
am just wondering about my doodles poo pattern.

Does anyone else have a labradoodle that has a change in the
consistency of his poo from day to day on a regular basis? Any
light to shed on this? Should I see a vet in your opinion?

Grover starts out in the a.m. with a solid "log" that is easy to
clean off the yard after he has been in his kennel all night. As
the day goes on, it goes from solid to more of a pudding consistency
and is very hard to clean up. It is especially bad when we take him
in the van to go to a trail with the family for a walk.

I have read on various sites about this and how many things can
affect it. Some things listed are the amount of water taken in,
which makes sense, and also stress. So I guess I am wondering if
any of you notice these things. He drinks a lot of water throughout
the day after play and such. I think being in the van and
anticipating the nature park is probably causing him to get
anxious. Do you think there is a connection here?

He is only on one food. Rarely gets a change in diet with treats
anymore.

I have another question.

What kind of diet do you all feed your doodles? I have Grover on a
Royal Canin product of kibble. I have considered raw, homemade, a
different food. I just wondered what you've tried that has been
good for your dogs.

Thank you much.

In Christ, Bridget
