For OATHAuth we must run MediaWiki 1.20, so on Monday I'm going to upgrade MediaWiki on labsconsole. I've already tested the upgrade in labs on nova-production1 and have been using it for the past week without error. There's a possibility that this will help with at least some of the session issues, since there's been some fixes to the memcache client in 1.20wmf2.
