I have noticed an issue when creating instances for the puppet-cleanup project: the availability zone always comes out as pmtpa. I tried deleting the instance and creating another, making sure that nova was selected, but no matter what is selected during creation, the instance list shows it as having the pmtpa availability zone. I'm not even very sure what this even means, or if it's a problem. I'm kind of assuming that this is related to my puppet errors involving ssl cert symlinks. So, my questions are:
What is an availability zone? What is the difference between nova and pmtpa? Does it matter that my instance (jesusaurus-cleanup) is in pmpta instead of nova? -- Jesusaurus
