Hello all, We have a short downtime planned for the Wikimedia IRC server coming in a couple weeks. This is irc.wikimedia.org, aka the IRC server that some bots follow as a recent changes feed.
Why: We're moving the Wikimedia IRC service from the Tampa, FL datacenter to the Ashburn, VA datacenter. The new server is already in place and running. The downtime will just be people (bots) being kicked from the old server and reconnecting to the new one. Let me know if you have any questions.
