+1.  Inefficiency can and does also slow the tools them-
selves down.

In a highly dynamic environment like Tools it would be un-
reasonable to optimize /every/ one-off script, but identify-
ing by monitoring those where another pair of eyes could
find some improvements makes a lot of sense to me.
