Correction: While the error "MySQL server has gone away" does not appear as frequently, we see (also from the 12th) OperationalError: (OperationalError) (1040, '*Too many connections*') It might very well be that we need to reconfigure our client to a smaller pool size, if so please let us know what is an acceptable number of concurrent connections to 1 host and we will change our config accordingly.
