Thank you all for your answers!
I have already thought about using dumps, but I wanted to use the live data.
But now I decided to use the dumps.
Best regards,
Stefan

Just a suggestion, but independently of the format, have you thought using
the dumps[0], that are also available locally in labs? You get some nice
xmls including some application/json wikibase-items, ready for automatic
processing.
There also are json dumps, as well as experimental rdf (ttl) dumps:
http://dumps.wikimedia.org/wikidatawiki/entities/
and rdf exports:

Cheers,
Katie
This will avoid long queries to the replicas and allow them to be used for
more real-time, OLTP-like queries.
