Hi all, Labs are not allowed to release, and they all share the same instance of Jira, so it is not possible nor logical to setup versions/milestones in Jira.
However, having a basic organization, like for example "current version", "next version", "future plans", could give the Labs Jira instance a useful feature, at least for planning what has to be done in the short term as opposed to what will be done someday or is merely planned to happen. Once the "line in the sand" is traced, and the version in the repository is tagged or whatever else, using the "Bulk change" feature of Jira it's possible to move all "next version" issues of one component to "current version" and eventually pick some more from the "future plans". If no one stops me before, tomorrow I'll create these "meta" versions in the Labs Jira.
