Hi, The Monsoon lab [1] has no activity for an extended period of time now. It has been initially moved to Google Code where it received contributions from outside the ASF. However, it never reached a fully working version that could be promoted to the incubator. Activity stopped and now Tomcat includes a compliant, fully working implementation of the websocket protocol. If a project like Monsoon would benefit the ASF, we advise using Tomcat's implementation as a starting point and keeping an eye on JSR 340 [2] and JSR 356 [3].
