that explains it a little more. it is more of a democracy than i thought, but i am not sure i understand. 659 representatives go to each area they are assigned to, and take the names of those who have decided to run and they take votes for them there ? but the prime minister is voted in only by the parliament votes! also you don't have to be a member of the parliament to vote and you only have to be registered to be able to vote.
how does parliament get its job? i think it was you who mentioned that they pay to be a member and that is how they become a parliament member, not put in by vote? also who do the registered voters vote for? the locals?i f they do not vote in the parliament then it must be local mayors or other local representatives. i am very lost in politics. it is always nice to learn about other countries' governments. america is so big that in every direction we drive it will be in america with the exceptions of canada, mexico, and puerto Rico. in england you drive the same distance and you are in another country that speaks another language and has a totally different government from your own. that is confusing, but at least those countries were able to hold onto your heritages. in america you are american, and you might find some indian reservations that speak their native tongue, amish villages that speak dutch, but you won't find another nationality other than american. you will find immigrants from other nationalities that are now american or becoming american, and maybe some are visiting america, but you won't find a different kind of government and language unless the immigrants have brought it from their homelands. north amerca has acquired a lot because they became one nation with no tariffs or toll charges between the states, and our economy, when it was doing better, was able to profit all areas of the u.s.a.. that made them rich, but there are so many different political parties that have gotten their way that no way will work without another party creating a problem that will bring it down. there are democrat legislatures being sabatoged by republican, republican being sabatoged with democrat, liberal being sabotoged by both and sabotaging both, independent sabotaging both and being sabotaged by both, communist party's doing the same and having the same done to them. what ever the politics you bring in, it will be sabotaged by someone even if it is just for the fun of it. thats why i think if they bring in the new world order or one world government that they have been working on, there will be an even bigger problem. it will be perverted before it even hits the voters. it will kill the whole economy and we will drive ourselves into a depression. it is already run and created by the biggest crooks in the u.s.a. and they have probably found every way in the world to run any high collar crooked scheme there is to bilk the public with if they get their way. the one world government was a type of government the people didn't invent because it was made by just politicians. what looks good on paper to them doesn't mean it will work as a government, and of course it will financially benefit only them. the people will not be able to have their own businesses with out paying high fees, and the rich that were rich when the government was capitalist will be in control of the one world government, and they will be the only ones who are allowed to be rich after it is put in. there are so many big ideas of what the one world can bring if no one causes any trouble or misuses it, but there are no rules to stop someone from misusing it by the super rich or super powerful who created it. it will be one big monopoly, and no way to defend yourselves to it. that is only my paranoia, and there may be a lot of supporters for the one world, but i think it will be one big monopoly that will finally bring America into a dictatorship equal to the kings and queens of england who put their people into ruins with unfair taxes and tariffs. i wouldn't be surprised if you saw a lot of new versions of semputary laws! lol. if they can get away with it, they will do it! que serra serra! that is what i think! from susan in tennessee,u.s.a.
