I'll second what Lynn says about Noelene and Bill! We visited Jenny Rees in
Canberra a couple of months ago, and drove the extra couple of hours the other
side of Canberra to visit Noelene and the group of lacemakers who meet at her
house.

We felt very welcomed - both from Noelene and Bill and the group. And I do
enjoy being able to visualise a person's surroundings when I read their emails!
However, Lynn, I think you're safe - I don't see myself getting to Cobargo in
the near future!!

visiting me in Australia, I took the
chance of the offer of hospitality from Noelene in Cooma. We had a
marvellous time, Noelene and her hubbie Bill were lovely and gracious hosts.
Noelene and I have continued the friendship and now when I visit with
Noelene, my hubbie always joins me as Bill and Don have much in common as
well. So take a chance you never know where and to what sort of friendships
opening your doors will lead.
