Dear Lynn,

Try Gumption.   No!  not sheer hard physical effort, that's not what I mean - I
mean the smooth paste kitchen cleaner!   If you don't have any of that, what
about powdered Ajax or similar mixed to a paste.  Don't scrub too hard with
Ajax though, because its "grittier" than Gumption and might scratch the glass.
