Hi all,
In the hopes that someone somewhere in
cyber space might be able to help, I thought
I'd ask. DH used a valid Microsoft command
scandisk /o and it has changed all of the long
file names to the DOS ~1.
There are over 70,000 filenames that we need
to restore, which will be impossible to do manually.
Does anyone with some serious expertise have some
useful input?
We have restored a previous registry with no
useful results. We have tried all of the typical
solutions and all of our research on the internet
seems to indicate our "goose is cooked".
Are there any techies out there who have a
relatively painless solution?
