I've just discovered the books written by Quintin Jardine set in Edinburgh - present day police murder mystery. I couldn't put the first one (Skinner's Rules) down till I finished it about 2am on Tuesday. Finished the second one (Skinners Festival - set during the Edinburgh festival - at 1.30am this morning). Part of the fun is spotting places I know in Edinburgh.
