We get so many American programmes on TV that I don't think anyone here in the UK even registers dove instead of dived, Tomaetoes instead of tomartoes (not in all regions, I know), purse instead of handbag or all the other differences between US and UK English. Just means we're bi-lingual for the least amount of effort. :-)
