This week seems to have been less than perfect for a couple of Arachnes...particularly thinking of Tamara with her Mac troubles! I've joined the club - although my woes are not computer-linked! Since moving here, the dog (all four pounds of her) has had to sleep inside, 'cos there isn't room for her traditional bed in the garage. Overnight, (probably 'cos she's getting senile, now aged 14) she had an accident inside. That in itself is not a major thing - small dogs make small messes - but the large, size 10 feet of my day-dreaming husband walked in the mess and didn't notice. By the time I returned from my early morning walk he'd tramped it over the kitchen floor, and the bathroom floor (opposite ends of the house, of course) and a lot of the carpet in between.
I cleaned up the immediate danger before breakfast, during which he knocked an open tub of yoghurt out of the refrigerator and all over the bottom of the fridge and kitchen floor. He spilt the cereal on the floor too as well as slopping water from the kettle down the cupboards. So I've spent a couple of hours repairing all the damage, cleaning spots off the carpet, making sure his slippers are now clean, etc., etc. Then I put the bread on to bake, and in doing so myself spilt flour all over the newly-cleaned benches....I think we'll both resign from this day!! And as for making lace...well, I'm going to give that a miss - I'd probably break every thread on the pillow at this rate!!! (BG) And its not even Friday the 13th.
