I'm going to bed!! It seems like the safest thing to do at this stage!! (VBG)
I'd have quit and retired to bed with a good book after I made the DH clean the dog-do off the carpet, even if it was only 8AM :)
Tamara, I'm glad you seem to have solved your Mac problems!!
OK, since several people seem to have taken an inordinate amount of pleasure from my *Mac* problems, I feel it's necessary to correct that misaprehension... :) It *was not* a *Mac* problem; it was a *router* problem... Even the techie said so <g>
One of the lurkers sent me a message today saying that unplugging the router for a few seconds works for her. She didn't say what kind of puter she had but: a) since that was the *very first* thing the techie suggested I do, and b) since (on his own admission) he knows little about Macs in general and nothing about OSX in particular, the inescapable, logical, conclusion is that it happens, fairly frequently, with Windows-driven PCs as well...
The fact that a "simple solution" didn't work (3 times, it didn't work <g>)... Well, *that* might be a "Mac problem"; as in Annie Get Your Gun, "anything you can do, I can do better. I can do anything better than you" <g>
