I have a 13 year old grandson who spent at week at the Scout Camp at Windsor last week, I was told there were 3,500 there. There were scouts from many countries around the world.
Grandson came home last Saturday with his arm in plaster, seems he fell over broke his thumb. Then questions were asked about the activities he did, one was abseiling, took a couple of days to tell his mother that when he was 30 feet from the ground one of the ropes broke, the other rope somehow got wrapped around him. This lad did not panic, took it as though it happened every day. We then found out he got a bravery award on the last day at camp. Seems he was a little unhappy about this as he felt a young lad who had never left home before was very home sick, my grandson took him under his wing. Nan he was brave, he stayed. The young make you think sometimes.
