Hi Gentle Spiders, I'm back on Chat and have been reading the Archives. Must clear up a couple of things Tamara said in her "IOLI Convention report, part I (getting there)...By the way, couldn't find Part II, Tamara

When I got to the hotel in NJ, I phoned US Cellular Customer Service and got some goobly-gook about AT&T in NJ-NY. Since we have anywhere from and anywhere to in the USA, I did "have a word" with US Cellular when I got to my home turf, and they paid for the road call - US Cellular was at fault because they did not notify me of the reprograming they had done in NJ-NY in July. I had to pay for the petrol the cute boy brought to the roadside. US Cellular also gave me 200 extra minutes because of my loss of 30 minutes beside I-80, NJ exit 23. >...Betty turned to me and said: "drat that man...I've not been married to him for more than 20 years, and he *still* messes up my life; if I hadn't been talking about him, I'd have noticed that the tank was low."... I was talking about the tragic death of my first husband more than 30 years ago with all the legalities of his death to deal with and a 10 year old daughter to raise. He *doesn't* still mess up my life. Only referenced the fact I shouldn't have been talking - and that is hard for me to do.. I have an extremely happy life with Friend Husband Clive, who *always* keeps my petrol tank full. Tamara and I were only talking about our past as we drove along. And I just wasn't paying attention...(^_^) By the way, Tamara left her night shirt in the Day's Inn at Allentown! >...Betty wouldn't even let me out of the car for a smoke... She would have only been a spot on someone's windscreen had she gotten out of the car on that highway! Tamara was an especially good travel companion; we both like stops along the way and talking to fellow travelers. We shared our first-day-lunch picnic table with some nice ladies from Richmond, VA who were traveling to Canada.
