Spiders All, Well, the typing of the dissertation is finished, it is all bound up, and it just needs to be delivered to the approppriate places now. My husband and I are very shortly off on holiday for five weeks - we come back just in time for the Suffolk Lace Makers Open Lace Day, so that was perfect timing! We need the holiday - the dissertation was for an Honours degree in Psychology, and the chirpy subject was "Depression and Suicide in Children and Young Adults" - my fingers ache, and I am definitely suffering from brain strain. Still, the hard work is over, and all we have to do now is await the results.....
I won't be around for the next five weeks, so I will be looking forward to all the accumulated messages when I get back, so I can overdose on Arachne. It will be all change here too then, as Claire and Dylan are moving down to Hereford, so we will miss them both! No doubt the phone bill will become exorbitantly extravagant after September - I think we will both miss them such a lot, but she and her partner can't keep hurtling up and down the M4 to see each other, just to keep me and John happy, I suppose. Anyway - better go and finish the packing, and see if I can make it a first by not forgetting anything vital. One never-to-be-forgotten year I forgot to pack John's jeans - and left them out on the line drying, as we flew off to Croatia! You laugh at these things afterwards, don't you, but at the time .....
