A few years ago, here in Victoria (Oz) the power station where the natural gas comes ashore blew up, and there was no gas at all for about 3 weeks! Many, like us, had gas water heaters, gas cooking stoves, and gas heaters, and, of course, it was winter!!! We had some electric cooking things in the caravan, which we fetched into the house, and a small primus, on which we heated up water for a bath! a 1�inch full bath is not my idea of fun!! When I wanted to wash my hair, DH used the watering can to pour water over me!!!
