Lynne's search for "Knitting Lace" on the internet and getting a price of $95.00 reminds me .....
I was recently searching for the publication "Introducing Traditional Bedfordshire Lace in 20 Lessons" by Barbara Underwood. Amazon listed it as "out of stock" but listed a copy available from an outside supplier at "Bargain, was $26.00, now $199.98". I queried it with Amazon, got a standard computer generated answer. Queried it again and was told an outside supplier could list an out of stock book at whatever he liked. I still believe that it is a typo, but got fed up trying to talk to sense to Amazon (how could it be a "bargain"?), and sent an email to the supplier. No answer. I have located the book in Australia in the meantime (thank goodness, also I prefer to buy locally if someone here has gone to the trouble to stock something) and at a reasonable price But I still don't think the Amazon advertised book was a "bargain" Noelene in Cooma PS - Has anybody else seen the comedy "Black Books" on TV?
