You are correct, Clay. It all depends which way you are facing - towards the equator, or towards the Pole. I get confused when I visit Denver - the mountains are on the "wrong" side - I live to the east of Melbourne, and we have some hills (I dare not call them mountains, after visiting the Rockies!!!) just 20 minutes drive from here - further out to the East. - and 'That' is where I expect my hills to be - not like in Denver, where they are to the west!!
