I don't believe in this or any other kind of alternative therapy, but I get very painful feet from RA, and can just be sitting with my feet up when it starts as well as when I've been walking. I bought a pair of slippers (from Kleeneze) I think with two magnets in the sole - one at the heel and one at the ball of the foot. I can feel the pain drain away when I put them on. I haven't tried insoles for my shoes because I have them made by the podiatrist at the hospital, so I don't know if they would work as well. When I next go, and don't have to have so much correction incorporated now that my knee's been done and I'm able to stand squarely I might buy a pair and see if they reduce the 'walking on stones' feeling.
