Somewhere along the line, the vendors of chemical lace on
ebay came up with the term "needle lace" which they seemed
to think was appropriate because the lace was made, after
all, with a sewing machine needle!!  It grates like fingers
on a blackboard with me, but there it is.

But yes, Alice....  I agree with you.  This looks like
chemical lace to me, but it does have a "Maltese-esque" look
to it.  Or should I say "Neo-Maltese"?...  ; )
