The following is a result of my forwarding two jokes to a non-chatter;
one was the Darwin awards '03, and one on horseback cops (too smutty to
be sent to chat at large). The ensuing correspondence went on to
discuss the merits of bicycle-mounted cops over the horse-mounted ones;
apparently, Houston has *both*

The only thing that helps with the bicylce cops is not
speeding in the first place ;) But in downtown Houston
these days, you have to be more worried about dodging
the new light rail train than anything. It nails about
1 car a week. There seems to be a slow learning curve
regarding making illegal left turns across the tracks.
Eventually Darwin will win ;)
