That reminds me of something else I wanted to say. It seems to me that August, December, and February are big flame months. In August people are hot and short-tempered, in December they're anxious about the holidays, and in February they're in the winter doldrums. The short days really do affect people's moods. One of the reasons I've never returned to Canada is the winters--I used to get depressed for months on end.
Now you'll know why those of us in NZ, AUS and RSA get our moods and flames all round the wrong way :)
Of course in August we are freezing; sure we have holidays in December but the fabulous weather makes them no big deal; and in February summer is at it's hottest peak.
