I bought a T-shirt last week in the Hawkshead shop in Edinburgh. They gave me a free gift with it - a Christmas pudding. I can't help looking this gift horse in the mouth - I'm sure it was left over from last Christmas. But it's 'best before' the year 2006, so I'm not complaining!
And I consider it was really free, too - the T-shirt cost 12 GBP, reduced to 6 GBP.
