How nice to share something with those on the other side of the world who
are enjoying their Spring flowers. It is autumn (fall) in Oz, but I have 2
crocuses out, also - But mine are the Autumn crocuses which put up their
blooms first, and grow the leaves later on when the flowers have died
down!!! They are mauve, and slightly larger than the spring variety.

I know how you feel, Jane (in Vermont), without the email. Someone skidded
around a corner, and wiped out the phone substation, and the nearby property
fence, the other afternoon. I had one of the 400 phones that were cut off,
and it took 2 days to get re-connected! The timing was the worst possible,
as I could not find out how Helen was after her surgery! My Internet is on
the same line as the phone!
It is a good thing I am already white-haired, as the worry did not
show!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :))
I am glad to be back! (Hi. Helen!), but I, too, have had a spate of viruses
this week. As you say, Jane - thank goodness for Norton!!!

Embroidery & Cross Stitch magazine, published by Express Publications in Oz,
has a 3 page spread showing some lace from the Oz lace Guild Collection (I
think), with an article by the president of the ALG, Margaret Morgan. I
only bought it today, and have not had a chance to read it yet, but it looks
very interesting.
I am also looking out for Inspirations, an embroidery magazine published by
Country Bumpkin, which is going to show some of the lace from the Guild
Triennial Awards, - But when, I don't know! I will keep looking, and let
you know.
