Thanks for sharing your journey with us Vicki and I'm sure you will come out
of the treatment completely cancer free. I went through the 'suspicious
lump' situation and while it turned out to be a cyst it really was an
emotional roller coaster while all the test, surgeon visits etc dominated my
life.

I live in Canada and get a government funded mammogram annually - due to
being over 50 and family history. Often it is recommended only every second
year. Whatever is the correct timing please take time to get this important
procedure done. It can be life saving. I too lost my mother prematurely due
to secondary cancer following breast cancer. She did not tell anyone she
found a lump and waited what turned out to be too long. I know that in the
US many pay for their own mammogram so I thought I'd send this information
to the list so women who aren't able to afford a mammogram might get one
funded.

Breast Cancer Mammogram Fund

Please tell ten friends to tell ten today! The Breast Cancer site is
Having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their
quota
Of donating at least one free mammogram a day to an underprivileged woman.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "donating a
mammogram" for free (pink window in the middle). This doesn't cost you a
thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily
Visits to donate mammogram in exchange for advertising.

Here's the web site! Pass it along to people you know.

http://www.thebreastcancersite.com

Please put this URL in your favorites and visit it every day you remember
to click the pink ribbon. They have some lovely jewellery too, but you
don't have to buy anything, just click the pink ribbon so they have a high
enough count for the sponsors to keep paying for the free mammograms

AGAIN, PLEASE TELL 10 FRIENDS TO TELL 10 TODAY
