I recently met my BIL's sister who I have not seen for 20 years. She has the hair I want - perfectly white and I know she does not dye it, mine will probably never go white all over but I am too much of a coward to try bleaching it.
I'm 3/4 of the way to being white all over - the back is still dark/s&p. The first white hairs appeared at 19, then in my 20s it was a white streak across the front which just got bigger and bigger.
According to my hairdresser the white/silver colour I have is very difficult to get out of a bottle; bleaching nearly always ends up yellowish/blond rather than white.
