Hi, Vasna -

The newest issue of the British Patchwork and Quilting magazine has an
article on the history of pincushions - including pinwheels. Good timing,
or what?

BFN,
Margery.

Subject: [lace-chat] pin wheels

Dear All:

I have a question about pin wheels. You know those pincushions that are
like sandwich cookies, where you stick the pins into the creme center from
the edge? Does anyone know any history about them - where and how they
originated, when they were most popular, etc. Any information at all would
be helpful. Thanks in advance!

If you can't be a good example, you'll just have to be a horrible warning.
