Today I was not feeling at all well (Morning sickness!!!) so I lolled about all day feeling (like every man) very sorry for myself. Until, that is, I picked up the above book by Lynne Truss.
It is most entertaining and informative. The topic? "Punctuation." You cant believe (Whoops...*can't*) what a pleasure it is to read. It quite uplifted my spirits. I you have very little interest in commas, apostrophes and the such like, then this book is not for you, but if you do have such an interests or would like to know more about punctuation,written in a humorous -but thinking- style; then this is the book for you. Quite a joy on a "blue" day. I hope her next book will be a book on Grammar, as I belong to the generation that had no schooling in such matters. All you had to do was to be able to communicate!
