Well, at least Adelaide (South Australia) is different: last year when my husband and I arrived for the annual Australian Lace Guild conference, we strolled into the mall in the centre of Adelaide ... to be "greeted" by several life-size pigs (sculpted in some sort of metal...could it be bronze?). One particularly caught my eye...it was standing on his hind legs reaching into the (real!) rubbish bin!!!
