I have found the following information, thought perhaps there might be Arachne members who might be able to go to the exhibitions.
A Royal Exhibition at Winchester Cathedral An exhibition to celebrate the 450 th anniversary of Mary Tudor of England's marriage to Phillip of Spain is to open at Winchester Cathedral. Mary Tudor married Phillip of Spain on 25th July 1554 at Winchester Cathedral. The display will be the first time the [period treasures and artefacts have been gathered in one place. Pictures, books, documents, tapestry, Armour and heraldry from the period will also be on show at the Cathedral. One exhibition charts the evolution in wedding fashion through the centuries and has a replica of Mary Tudor's gown. This is at the Undercroft in the education centre, The Close. (near the cathedral) Entrance 2.50 pounds or 5 pounds to include entry to the Exhibition of Treasures. Sunday 1st August - Tuesday 31 August. I am not sure if the above dates are for both exhibitions or just the wedding dresses. I am wondering if there will be any more Royal Wedding dresses at the exhibition. If anyone goes to the exhibition it would be nice to know. We all call her Bloody Mary.
