Such a shame that skills are being lost -> Maybe you should ask your tv companies to import The Carold Duvall Show. I have been watching these shows for about 10 years now on HGTV and now the repeats on DIY channels. It is a half hour format where she usually shows two segments on various crafts (rubber stamping, polymer clay, paper folding, etc.) and in between a short piece about an American artist (glassblowing, wood carving, basket making, etc.). She has featured bobbin lace and tatting in these sections. I enjoy having my breakfast watching her program and never tire of seeing reruns as I see things I had meant to have a go at if I ever had more time. DIY also has jewellry and knitting shows. Plus both have sewing a quilting shows. Whilst we are on the subject of tv shows, whatever happened to Alan ?(senior moment), the gardner on that garden show where they surprised the owner with a makeover. All of a sudden all we see are Charlie and Tommy with new people. This current series is set in America where yesterday they built a "ruin" on a hillside in California. Janice
