Re-cycled flour bags seem to be a universal phenomenon. Here in South Africa the story goes that a family managed to save enough money to go on a beach holiday - all kitted out with flour bag swimsuits. The old man looked at his swimsuit and said that he did not mind the Bokomo (Trade name) on the back but he did object to the "self-raising" on the front!!!
