Here in Ottawa (and presumably other parts of Ontario) we have more black squirrels than any other colour. They are an absolute pest and destroy gardens and plants and cause damage to houses. I have about 6-8 who tear through my garden on a regular basis.
I occasionally see grey squirrels, but haven't seen a red one in a long time. People in the neighbourhood feed the squirrels (and they help themselves to bird feeders all the time), so the numbers keep growing.
